Reviews of The Cross Our Compass
Review from Amazon by P. Kilmer
5.0 out of 5 stars     Outstanding book about faith
Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2021

The Cross our Compass is an outstanding story about a close knit Catholic Family during WWII and how their Faith was instrumental in getting them thru the suffering, separation and death that comes with war. The Author did a great job of introducing the main characters and showing the strong bonds of Love within the family and the camaraderie and brotherhood of the Paratroopers. This story demonstrates how the characters’ childhood faith, that was nurtured in their family home was tried and tested by the realities of war and increased into a mature Christian Faith as it was tested and lived out. God’s Grace worked in their lives giving them the strength to persevere in the Hope of Christ. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, young and old alike who wants to learn more about the importance of Faith, Hope and Love and how keeping your eyes on the Cross is the key to remembering and trusting in God’s Love for us.
